REAL WEDDING - 12.30.2016

When you get a classic bride who loves a little sparkle - you get this amazing B&W affair in Fort Worth! One of the most notable and recognized venues in this town, the T&P Station was a perfect spot for a fun art deco inspired bash! All of these elements came together just beautifully and that confetti pop during the last dance? I mean...sold! The crowd went crazy and the photo captured by Dyan Kethley says it all. I have such great clients and my fellow Aggie bride was no exception! Gig 'em McCarters!

REAL WEDDING - 12.20.2015

Aracely and Richard came to me with a vision of fusing her Mexican heritage with his American/Tejano influences. The outcome was a stunning collection of Mexican artwork, foods and Tejano music. Ceremony and Reception took place at Bass Hall's historic recital halls - Van Cliburn and McDavid Studios. We worked on bringing the outside in with our candle lit ceremony space utilizing rusted lanterns and low lush arrangements. The Bride and Groom stood atop her families vintage Mexican rug. Design in the reception space is meant to be inclusive of the whole family with tons of sweet bread from a Fort Worth staple, Esperanza's, kids craft tables and hot coco for a chilly December evening. We enjoyed beyond words, working with Aracely and Richard and wish the best of luck in the future!

Grecian Bridals

These bridals shot at a sweet little spot in Dallas, Texas...oh my stars!! Not only did the angelic bride make this shoot great but the setting that surrounded us with the moody skies and green grass made for a perfect setting.

The dress found at the one and only Gossamer tied in perfectly with all the florals we used to coordinate with this dress.

This floral concept brought together the look of this stunning dress, by adding a petite floral belt which was composed of Ruscus, Yellow Cassia, Scabies Pod, and Ivory Spray Roses. This petite floral belt was coordinated with the headpiece and very natural bouquet.

All of these items pulled together made for a very natural sensual look that I just loved and admired!

#NOLA Project

Cannot believe our New Orleans trip has come and gone but man oh man what fun it was! My husband and I have never to NOLA and was even a bonus that we got to enjoy an afternoon with some sweet friends – Kelsey and Talon with Feather and Twine Photography who are *gasp* newly engaged!! I have always been enthralled with the old and historic. I love the feel of the souls that have been in cities for generations upon generations with the perfectly decomposing building all around. New Orleans is a perfect city for me – its old and historic with something new happening behind every turn of the narrowly winding roads. The food is amazing, the people are fun and the energy is overwhelming.

Take a look at our little adventure and the sneak peak of our #NOLAproject – full project post as soon as I get them!

Broussard's in the early morning. This is the location of our beautiful shoot.

This was taken at noon on a Friday...shouldn't people be working? New Orleans has a New York feel in the energy, its a city that never sleeps.

Bittersweet Confections in Downtown, the sweetest most perfect little bakery with the absolute most delicious blueberry petit fours. Nom...I had 3 in a 24 hour period, don't judge.

Worth every calorie.

This folks is why we did what we did. Stunning, isn't she? Can't wait to show you all the finished product...stay tuned :)

Helen's Bridals - Dallas, Texas

How stunning is Helen? I am so excited to finally get to share these amazing photos taken at the Filter Building in Dallas, Texas by Anna Smith Photography. Helen is one of those brides that was just a breeze to work with - truly a beautiful soul and not too bad to look at either!! I love every detail about this ethereal session...STUNNING!

Boho Bridals

These bridals were inspired by the fantastic location - a private estate in Fort Worth, Texas. The simplicity of the bride's JCrew gown allowed for an ease for her gorgeousness to shine through. We styled minimally with simple gold studs and a single gold ring. Theresa even did her bridals completely barefoot!
The floral concept was drawn on the natural and wild elements of the estate's garden. I wanted the arrangements to look as though they were thrown together with purpose, that their was thought behind the carelessness. We opted for a soft color pallet: whites, light pinks and peaches and soft browns in all of my favorites blooms. The major elements in the floral were composed of peonies, ranunculus, chocolate Queen Anne's Lace and astilbe.
Overall this group of vendors and the bride was just amazing to work with and she was so easy to shoot and style.

This couple...I love this couple. They are stylish and sophisticated and down right elegant. Individually this bride is kind, creative and everything else that defines a "dream bride." Perfect to work with - we took about every excuse we could to sip champagne at Neiman's Bridal in Downtown Dallas or take an extended lunch or two! Photos taken by the sweet Lesya of Cinnamon Dreams.

The first thing I said when I met this bride "Oh my Lord." Look at that stunner!

Oh my goodness folks. This bride and groom were beyond entertaining and their wedding was so much fun! I worked very closely with the mother of the bride to create this very special day for her daughter and it could not have turned out more perfect. She opted for soft yellows, ivory, gray and a touch of blue. The bridal party was so unique, we had "groomsmaids" and "bridesmen" and it was so clear how united these two families were already! Brant Smith did a spectacular job on the photos and catching some really great moments.

I love this shot of father and daughter. I of course was back in the barn with the two and the look he had in his eyes for the daughter he was just about to give away was breath taking. I loved that moment...

  Good night y'all. That arch!!

Glamorous Industrial Inspiration Shoot

After working with Whitley Danielle Photography on a family project I had going on, I knew she was going to be the best fit for a styled shoot that was in an infancy stage. She edits beautifully and has wonderful eye for really artistic shots, I was oh so glad to have her on board! This dress was beyond amazing, the behind shot and the detail of this dress is everything... As the Creative Director of this shoot I was inspired by the natural elements in this space; the lighting, the brick, the exposed piping and gorgeous, beaten hardwood floors. You can see the natural hues in the floral and I just love it.
