Describing this couple can be summed up in one word: FUN. It was one of those rare occasions where you just "get" the other. Deborah and I were like white on rice, two peas in a pod, sisters from another mister! I had such a wonderful time planning this wedding and miss them already!

This couple...I love this couple. They are stylish and sophisticated and down right elegant. Individually this bride is kind, creative and everything else that defines a "dream bride." Perfect to work with - we took about every excuse we could to sip champagne at Neiman's Bridal in Downtown Dallas or take an extended lunch or two! Photos taken by the sweet Lesya of Cinnamon Dreams.
The first thing I said when I met this bride "Oh my Lord." Look at that stunner!
Love this Reem Acra Gown!

Wedding Date: 5/17/2014
The Ashton Hotel, Downtown Fort Worth
When Abby contact me about planning and designing her wedding we were just within the 1 year mark and coming up against some venue difficulty. We just could not find a venue that 'fit.' With some luck we snuck in The Ashton Hotel when 1 date in May opened. We snagged the date and got to designing. On the blog today is Abby and Bryan's engagement session done by one of my favorites: Lesya Bilder of Cinnamon Dreams Photography.
Stay tuned for the Real Wedding Post, Abby + Bryan Wedding!

Oh my goodness folks. This bride and groom were beyond entertaining and their wedding was so much fun! I worked very closely with the mother of the bride to create this very special day for her daughter and it could not have turned out more perfect. She opted for soft yellows, ivory, gray and a touch of blue. The bridal party was so unique, we had "groomsmaids" and "bridesmen" and it was so clear how united these two families were already! Brant Smith did a spectacular job on the photos and catching some really great moments.
Sweet first look.
Beautiful yellow and ivory bouquet provided by Branching Out.
I love this shot of father and daughter. I of course was back in the barn with the two and the look he had in his eyes for the daughter he was just about to give away was breath taking. I loved that moment...
Good night y'all. That arch!!
Look at those blooms!!
My favorite way to leave!
Thanks for letting me be a part of your big day!

If describing this couple in one word, sweet is what I would use. They are kind to each other and everyone else they met and have a beautiful loving family. I was so thrilled when Sarah approached me about assisting in the design of her vintage, rustic wedding. She needed help with the design of each table and Query Events stock of vintage gloriousness was a perfect place to start! Take a look at this perfectly sweet January wedding!
Sweet shades of berry everywhere!
How sweet is this sweetheart table overlooking all of the bride and groom's adoring guests?
To go along with our rustic/vintage theme, she rented this old vanity dresser from my stock and it was truly a perfect addition to the space.
The bride wanted something sweet for her guests to snack on between conga lines. I love this milk and cookie bar and it was a fantastic hit with her crowd!
This was such a sweet wedding for such a sweet couple. I am so thrilled with how the floral came out using the bride's ideas of berry hues. All table top décor (milk glass, vintage books, medicine bottles and crates) were directly from our stock of vintage goodies. Perfect for a mix and match tablescape! So thrilled to be a part of Mark and Sarah's big day!
